I use it all the time on my Night Train. When I'm done cleaning I just spray with Pig Spit or S-100 and it looks like new.

I used it recently to clean up my natural engine pieces and have not seen any stains or discoloration. I actually would spray a small area, scrub with a toothbrush and rinse thoroughly right away. Really cleans up nicely. Don't forget to rinse the toothbrush real good before you use it on your teeth at night.

It fogs aluminum. If you must--wash it off immediately & don't let it sit.

I know some take jabs at me for this or the way I am with my bike but it is what it is. I keep my bike so clean I rarely have to do little to keep it clean. If the motor does get dirty, ie., caught in the rain, ride through **** or fields for parties or pig roast and so on I just hit it with a power washer. If it gets REAL bad I have a windex bottle that I will make a strong soapy solution with Dawn dish soap and hot water. I wet my engine, spray that on and let it soak for a few minutes then I just hose it off at home. I also use the S-100 every once in awhile and that tends to keep too much from sticking to it that just hosing off will usually takes care of it. If it gets bad, which it usually doesn't, Harley sells these HUGE Q-tip type things that will get between the fins and other hard to access area's. I am pretty well versed in chemicals and the use thereof, that I try to stay away from that or any other kind of cleaning stuff. Although it staining or hurting the chrome, aluminum or paint is a concern that's not my #1 concern. The long term effects on the wiring and cables is what concerns me most. I also always have my bike detailed with a quality wax and the more harsh cleaners or degreaser strips that. I do strip the wax off at the beginning of riding season and then and only then will I purposefully strip all the wax off of my bike. A buildup of wax overtime will have the opposite effect on a shine actually making it dull. I again use a strong soapy solution then hit it with a clay bar both on the paint and chrome. Between wax jobs I use Mother's California Gold. It's sounds complicated but it's really not. It's time consuming but not hard. I can't see having a bike with "X" amount of big dollars in it and have it looking anything other than in showroom condition at all times. Again, It is what it is!

Tony I like your style.. After my Dyno tune at valley racing I'm gonna spend all day cleaning my sled up. Another reason I'm glad I bought the full table lift. I can detail the bike up in the air.
I can't wait to get your way and see your bike in person.

I use Simplegreen on all my car engines with no ill results. I have yet to try it on the Harley cause I'm ****, and it never gets dirty enough to use Simplegreen. I get by with a wet towel that I use every time I get in from a ride

Thanks Dan. No one has to tell me that I am **** about my bike, I already am well aware of that. I don't have a full lift but I do have the Harbor freight lift and that does for me what I need. If I were to do it all over again I would probably go for what you have. It's the same height but a full table lift is probably more stable, not that I think I will dump my bike off if it. I think it would just give me a little more confidence when it's up in the air. I too am looking forward to meeting you, your friends, new friends, riding and a beer here and there. I am looking forward to seeing your bike too. I am sure we will cross paths sooner or later. I would also like your very most honest and open opinion to if and when you ever do see my bike in person. Pictures just do not do anything for my bike. it just looks like a stock bike with a little chrome on it. Although the look I have tried to accomplish with all that has been done to my bike, it really just doesn't show in pictures. I like clean and simple lines, I don't like any one thing drawing so much attention to it that it takes away from the bike as a whole. I also like that when a person stops and looks at it, that the more they look the more they find. I'm just not really happy how it shows in pictures. Ya know, if I ever get down that way and it's too shitty to ride I might like to throw my bike on your lift, see how they work and operate and to get it up in the air and get to where it would be tough with any other lift, even my own. Since this bypass, It didn't feel too good the other day when I was crawling around under my bike to look it over good.. What's one of those run Dude? That could end up being an expensive road trip for me! LOL... Ride safe Dude.
