Got me V&H Short shots from American Classic Motors, brackets instructions everything 280.00! No better deal that I could find. They sound awesome by the way!
WOOSH - That is the most beautiful paint job Harley produces IMO!!! That Kinetic is AWESOME, wish they would put it out for the Softail Customs! (Nice low number too!) Sweet Ride!
No pipes but many other accessories from Ebay, saved BIG $$$ without the sacrifice of quality. I will definitely continue to use it. [sm=groupwave.gif]
Yup. Bought my BigRadius from Eastern Perfromance off Ebay along with the PCIII. And many other parts from various Ebay'ers. No problems yet. Save a ton of $'s this way.
I personally haven't bought pipes for my bike...yet...but have bought a TON of other stuff off of eBay. There are some great deals to be had, if you take your time, and don't get so caught up in the 'gotta win' mode, that you end up burning yourself. (Which I've done a time or two...) Particularly if you live Stateside (I don't...) a lot of vendors offer free shipping, which can often be the biggest downside of dealing with eBay. However even taking into consideration exchange rates (which aren't as bad for we Canucks as a few years back...), shipping (and 'handling' sometimes...) costs, AND the possibility of being tagged by Canada Customs...the dicks!!...I've still managed to score some sweet deals over the years. ie. I just bought a new moustache style engine guard for my Fat Boy, and saved myself well over $100 (Cdn) off of retail. Patience, and bidding toward the end of the auction is the key. My two cents...
Get to know the seller before auction closes. If they won't talk then stay clear. I have bought and sold on eBay since the start. If you pay attention to closing times on auctions and place a bid that you want to pay you will be surprised at the results. I just got a brand new ostrich paneled badlander for my Deuce for 81 bucks. Price still on it for a big bunch over that. I didn't need it but I could'nt resist a deal.
Pay attention, talk to seller, and don't pay inflated shipping prices.
Igot my pipes from Eastern Performance and paid around $200 less than Harley dealership, plus free shipping (2 days to PA) and no sales tax.American Classic is also pretty good ,I live a few minuites from their shop and alot of buddies have gone there with good remarks.
