I should have my Power Vision from Fuel Moto by the end of the week and was wondering where or even if I should mount it on my softail slims bars. I was thinking of just running it into my swingarm bag for some auto tune runs then just unplug it when I'm done. Anyone have some pic's of some softails without a windshield and Power vision on the bars ?

Sorry I don't have any pics but just wanted to tell you you will love the PowerVision. I just recieved mine last week and could not be happier with ease of use. I will be trying the Auto Tune but will not be permanently mounting the devise on my bike.
I had an older Kuryakyn chrome cellphone mount and surprisingly all 4 holes lined up and was a direct fit.
The new ones looks and seem have more articulation: http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/931...cessory-Mounts

There are a few Techmounts available and also an affordable mount

ETA: I only mount the PV when I'm trying different maps/tunes. After a few test rides and using the gauges and datalogs, I remove the PV. I dont think it's necessary to keep it on all the time, although you will find that gauges like tach, engine temp, etc.. can be very useful.
Here's a pic of my Powervision with the Kuryakyn mount:

The good thing about this mount is that you can leave the PV attached to the chrome bracket and you basically just leave the handlebar mount and you can quickly attach or detach with one screw and take the PV with you. It's not the best, but I had this mount sitting in my garage for a few years and finally had a reason to use it. lol
I'm sure you can find better mounts like a Techmount.

Reason: added pics
For some it would be a good idea to leave it on esp if they
dont have a Tach, or want to use it to monitor engine temp or batt gauge etc...
There are so many useful gauges that I'm actually contemplating on leaving it on the bike and just take it off when needed
I ordered my powervision back in June with the air filter kit and I did not get the tech mount kid and I wish I did ... I emailed Jamie today as I should have gotten it with it ... I tried doing a auto tune run last night and just put it in my pocket of my jacket and that did not work so well ,, the inside of my pocket must have touched the screen and put it to another screen and my bike was running like complete **** when I came back ... lots of popping .. I ended up just re-flashing the ECM with my original tune from fuel moto for now until I can get it mounted properly for the auto tune... It wont stay on the bike but it needs to be somewhere so the screen cant be touched while riding ...
