On my '10 Deluxe, I needed a long reach T47.

I'm pretty sure mine was a T-45, I don't have a T-47 in my toolbox and I've never had a problem putting on or taking off, which I think I've done about 2-3 times in the last few months.

My understanding is that sometimes hardware will vary inexplicably on the same model within the same production year, or maybe it's just the dealer installing the pegs and mixing and matching the hardware, as I've heard of people having allen bolts in there as well, both metric and SAE.

I've read anywhere from 45, 47, and 50. Although a smaller size may work you're more likely to strip the head after a few uses.

It's T45. The problem is finding one that is a long reach. The head is deep down in the bracket and a regular T45 doesn't reach in there.

T45 - and you need a long reach - eBay is full of 'em.

I have a set of T-handled torx wrenches that I think range from 20-55 by 5. They reach no problem and have worked fine for bolts that I can't reach with regular L shaped ones. I got them at Harbor Freight for $10-15. They aren't pro quality, but if you're just a dude messing around in your garage they're fine.

Got a set of long shank torx in the bigger sizes for auto zone. The packaging said they were intended for working on brakes I believe
