Default New scoot!

Hey Guys and Girls,

I sold my nightster (which was very hard to part with!) for a softail slim. One of the reasons I sold it was so I could put a detacheable two up system on the bike. I heard through the grapevine you can modify the HD detacheable sissy bar to work on the slim without relocating the plate and signals. Is that true? Has anyone here done it?

Thanks for your help!

You can shave down the rear tabs so you don't to relocate the signals. Here is a pic of before and after. Hope it helps.

that helps out a lot. I figured it would be along those lines. I can just take the sissy bar to work and grind it off.

Welcome to the softail side of the force.

The wife and I went from our '06 1200C Sporty to our '12 Heritage.

Might I suggest if your going to ride two up to get the Shotgun Shock, just do a search in this forum about the Shotgun Shock air suspension system.
