Default Help risers

Hello all.
I am looking for risers that offer 1.5" at least of pull back, and 6" in height. They are for a slim. H.D. Only list one that it says will work for a slim. I would like to keep the stock handlebars.
I don't know why risers for 1" bars won't work.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If your bars are 1" then most any riser made for newer Harley's with 1" bars will work.

Thank you for the reply. I was thinking that they would work if it was for 1" bars. Just don't know why H.D. Would list only one working with it though.

Thanks again

likely the reason that they are listed as compatible with the Slim are the crossbar on the handlebars. I don't have a ton of experience with Slims aside from seeing a couple in showrooms, but isn't there a possibility that the top clamp on some risers not fit under the crossbar?

Good point about the crossbar. I didn't even think of that.

Thanks

If they will work what you're probably looking for in terms of dimensions would be a set of stock risers off a Deluxe. Get them powdercoated black and you'd be good to go... if the top clamp will fit under the crossbar.

Or if you could get whatever top clamp you are using now to fit other risers you could probably make any set of risers for 1" bars work.

Again though, I don't have a Slim, so I'm not even sure if the crossbar is low enough that it would really be an issue. handlebar clamps aren't really all that thick, so the only way it would be an issue would be if that crossbar only leaves a really tight space.

That's what I did, I got the H-D pullbacks (p/n 55900023), and had them PC'd black. They're the same ones that come stock on the Deluxe's.
I was worried how the Hollywood bars might look being raised, but they're OK, in fact one of the customs on the H-D site has them.

They have a height of 4.5". I think any more than that and the stock bars would look out of place.

As far as clearance under the crossbar, unless you were to go with something huge like those piston-risers, it shouldn't be a problem.

Mufasa, next time you're at the dealer, sit on a Deluxe for an idea how they'd feel...

I've got a set of Deluxe risers sitting in my garage if you want to make me an offer on them. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you do.
