I have a Heritage Softtail and was considering getting the heat shield that covers the top of the rear cylinder. Looking for opinions if the gain is worth the cost and living in Florida (hot) the effect on engine temp.
Thanks

I have this,so does my Daughter, on her Deluxe. Cheap, and works great. I studded ours myself,
I would like to add that in order to access the dipstick you can just lift our cooler..When we designed our crotch cooler a lot of women told us that they were actually burning themselves on the dipstick..
I used to burn my legs sitting in traffic during the summer crossing one of the bridges from Philadelphia to New Jersey, got a set from Capt. Itch, no more burn.
Captn Itch's crotch cooler is the way to go brother. You won't be disappointed. We live in Daytona Beach and every time we get on our Deluxes from early May through late October, we say a silent prayer to the Itchman for conceiving his crotch coolers. You gotta have 'em down here in the sunshine state. Other folks have posted his website...don't hesitate to get 'em.
