a can not find a set of 2 into big radius pipes for my new breakout any one here know were i can get a set

my pro pipe has been on back order for over a month for my fat boy and is not scheduled for release until July 11th. They are behind big time.

 

Odd that V&H doesn't have them. Big Radius 2-2 are the ones I like myself.

 

I know the feeling about not being able to get a set of pipes. California has no pipes because of their stupid F'ing emissions and companies like V&H's won't ship to California anymore since they were fined by CARB.

Update:

Well I did some more digging and as it turns out the issue is not with V&H in my case (although they do have a backlog) it is with my dealer (Minuteman HD in Dartmouth MA). The short answer is that these A-Holes never placed the order for my pipes and for some unknown reason have been jerking me around for months. Its not like I was just getting pipes from them, I bought the bike from them and what I realize now is that the great service I received at that point wasn't because of the dealership it was because of the individuals I had dealt with, Ed the sales mgr. and Doc the parts guy both of which are no longer there. THis place will never see another dime from me and I already placed my order with Doc who now works at Precision HD.

 

I'm so glad I didn't wait around for these pipes. I ended up just getting the twin slash slip ons. My Breakout sounds very nice, the fuel moto fuel map for the Power Vision works well with it too.

 

Have not found a dealer yet that has cared about the customer. All dealers are there for profit, not for your best interest. Each time you go to that dealer let them know in a mature way they will be earning your business for that transaction. If you dont like the situation, try another dealer. But dont go to the next dealer and let them know of your bad experience, the will bull crap you saying yes they know of that etc. Just approach them the same way, you have money and would they like to earn the business. Go direct to Vance and Hines web site get their phone number and talk to someone live and let them know what you would like and find out how they can get them to you. They may be able to ship direct or tell you who carries it and has it in stock. Never wait on any Harley dealer to do things as such. Once you walk out the door, they don't remember your name. So treat all dealers as a business, not a friend. If you want a friend, go buy a dog. He is the only one that will lick your nuts when you return home no matter what has happened at the end of the day.
