I think I have narrowed down my choices to a set of V&H big shots or V&H big radius 2 into 1. I'm wondering what advantage one set would have over the other. Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
the big shots have the power chamber which is a small H section which does some scavenging and imho is better sounding pipes. owned a set and a friend has the big radius big shots deep sounding radius has a sharper note.
I was looking at some photos yesterday and it looks like the big radius pipes may not allow for a passenger peg on the right side. I hope I'm wrong because that would be a deal breaker.
The power will be in the 2 into 1 pipes for sure. Check out the reviews.
That's what my parts guy at the shop was saying. Plus I got a response from V&H and they said the 2-1 would allow for the passenger pegs. Still have a couple months before I get the work done but at this point I think the 2-1 will be my choice.
I have the V&H Big Shots staggered on my Fat Bob now, love them - I heard a set of the V&H Big Radius over the weekend, didn't like the sound - was looking at the V&H Prop Pipe - whished it was a few inches shorter.
As much as I love my Big Shots, I want something deeper so just ordered the D&D Fat Cats 2-1 this am...

So what was it you didn't like, not loud enough or not deep enough or something else?

I have the Fat Cats. I love them. My Tuner guy loves them too. Says he gets better numbers with them on a bike.

A lot of tuners don't know how to tune with anything else. It can actually be beat by a set of true duals. It's been done. Way better sound than any 2in1 imo.
I love the look of the Big Radius, but the power chamber is a big plus for the Big Shots. They both look great and sound great. The Big Shots look a little more traditional. That being said, I like 2 into 1 better for performance.
