Default cable help

I have an 04 softail and am in the process of putting apes on. No one sells an idle and throttle cable long enough for my needs thats classified to fit my bike. Can I put a idle and throttle cable on from a 1996-99 FLHR?
Thanks

Give Burley a call, just tell them the bike type an ape size and they can set you up. They treated me well.
