Default Exhaust advice - Slim

I am looking for some advice.. not so much flack but I guess that will come anyway!

I am in the process of doing a bit of work to my vivid black Slim. I have just ordered the 23" front and 18" Fat Daddy's from Rideright and have the RSD Tracker fender to go to make the 200 rear. The rims are black with black spokes and hub with just a contrast cut around the lip to break it up a bit.

I know its not for everyone but I bought the Slim because I thought it was a great canvas to start from...

Where I am currently stuck is the exhaust to match the lines of the Slim and the wheels. I want a performance exhaust but cant have something that hangs too low as I also have the Shotguns to go on.

When it comes to getting this right the money is not an issue so I would really appreciate some advice or recommendations!

Cheers.

I had the fat cat exhaust... loveddddd it. I somehow still managed to drag pipe on turns.
Since i got the shotgun shocks i got the freedom performance outlaw exhaust... ( looks like rsd exhaust)
It sits up higher which is a plus.
Im not sure about fitting the lines though. WIth a bigger front wheel... maybe some side shots? or upswept exhaustS?

I am a big fan of the fatcats as well and I saw your post about then dragging so I have left them off the "potential" list...

I have been looking at the Bassani Pro-Street as well which I haven't have had before which are the straight shot style and also considered the Akrapovic but I think with the big front it might look odd.

PS. Your Slim looks the goods...

thanks bud.
Maybe just get your wheels/fender on first... and post up some pics and have some guys photoshop some exhausts on .
Pretty stoked to see how a 23 will look. I agree the slim is a great canvas. Barebones no frills to make how you want it. But with every model of bike theres traditionalists that think if you deviate from what harley designers came up with its blasphemous.

Man, I'd love to see someone do a V&H Big Radius 2-into-1 on a slim. They won't drag and I think they'd look amazing...

Sampson has some interesting options as far as upswept. I think waiting until you have the wheels on the bike to see what the stance will look like would be your best bet!

Too true... to tell you the truth it keeps me entertained.

I reckon I will do what you and GlennB have said and once I have the fender on this week and wheels I will post up some pictures to make it easier...

Thanks all for the help.

No worries. It's just easier that way to visualize what different exhausts will look like!
