I am looking for some advice.. not so much flack but I guess that will come anyway!
I am in the process of doing a bit of work to my vivid black Slim. I have just ordered the 23" front and 18" Fat Daddy's from Rideright and have the RSD Tracker fender to go to make the 200 rear. The rims are black with black spokes and hub with just a contrast cut around the lip to break it up a bit.
I know its not for everyone but I bought the Slim because I thought it was a great canvas to start from...
Where I am currently stuck is the exhaust to match the lines of the Slim and the wheels. I want a performance exhaust but cant have something that hangs too low as I also have the Shotguns to go on.
When it comes to getting this right the money is not an issue so I would really appreciate some advice or recommendations!
Cheers.
im loving the RSD fender kit on mine with the 200 tire, its still a slim in my mind but looks far better.. sorry cant really helkp with the exhaust query, ive got straight shots on mine which keep the vintage/retro look of the original slim model.. but you wont be disappointed with the rear end!!

Thanks mate. It was actually seeing the photos of your Slim which made me go the RSD route. I really wanted the Boss seat but for whatever reason and as I think you mentioned in another post it wont fit.
More and more I am leaning towards the longer pipes and away from the Akrapovic etc...

thanks, the actual fender kit is spot on, and it hugs the metz200 tire nicely. Yes it is a shame about the Boss seat, you might want to get in touch with RSD as they vividly claim it fits the 13' softails.. if they do make a boss seat that actually works let me know!

I am being lazy here and hijacking my own thread but here is what I found out today about the seats... (being lazy on the phone and not re writing it!)
I am a big fan of the fatcats as well and I saw your post about then dragging so I have left them off the "potential" list...
I have been looking at the Bassani Pro-Street as well which I haven't have had before which are the straight shot style and also considered the Akrapovic but I think with the big front it might look odd.
PS. Your Slim looks the goods...
Why not go with the DND lowcat. Should have no worries with it scraping.
