Default Windshield Advice - 07 Deuce

I have an 07 Deuce. I want to reluctantly add a windshield for highway runs on my Deuce. I really don't like the looks of them but at a 100 KMH, it's pretty cold and I seem to be eating alot of bugs. Anyone have any ideas on a functional windshield that goes on and comes off easy, provides a decent amount of protection and doesn't totally ruin the look of the bike?

I had a detachable on mine. Four easy clamps and it was off in 20 seconds. Took many rode trips without any issues.

I went through the same decision making process...didn't want to clutter the lines...windshields are for old men...etc...but the bugs & more importantly the stray rock hitting me in the face hurt...lol.

I ended up going with the biggest HD windshield for the Deuce (clear windshield from HD.com) with the quick detach connections (not the special hardware, but the C-Clamp style). Then I went with the chrome air deflectors. Honestly doesn't clutter the bike from the side at all..only from the front and not too bad. Good luck with it.

Another vote for the WindVest system. It's what I have on my '00 Deuce. Works great, looks good.

I've been looking at the mephis shades batwing also... quick detatch and gives it that street glide wanna be look... have a buddy who put one on his yami raider and didn't turn out to bad... actually made his ugly bike look better

Hey Brian what did you use for the chrome deflectors?

I have a 03 Aniversary one. Do clear. You look over, so tint makes no sense and just make shield stand out. I was running a Harley Skull one that I think fit a Wide Glide. Just like the one I am running now except the shield was a little thicker. The older one on the paper is tinted. Note my new one is not and does look less noticeable. No so much in this picture. I have go so use to it and run year round now, I never take it off.
