You can always zip tie a key fob copy of your remote on your bike. I sold my flash to pass because doing that was so easy and not noticeable. Zip tied it to handle bars on one bike and off the turn signals on another.

You could do something like this and have the button mount through the toolbox wall. I mounted mine exactly as he did and I love it.

I had a car remote lying around since my wife's car has HomeLink. Did like the link shows with wiring it to a switch in the dash, and mounted the opener itself behind the splash guard for the rear wheel. Pretty simple to do and opener is completely hidden.

My buddy bought a kit that ties into his hi-beam switch. When he rides up the driveway he just flashes his hi-beam which sends a signal to open the door.

This guy modded one himself:

I hung my key fob style off my mirror stem with a carabiner.

Theres key chain fobs that i would just zip tie to my bar... but i usually just put a garage opener in my pocket and finger f*ck my jean pocket until i hit the open button.

I added the odo switch to an old remote. Then, I placed the remote under my seat, right at the very front by the end of the spine of the frame.

Since I have a C&C seat, I have a felt back on the underside of my seat. I slapped some industrial Velcro on the back of the button, and it's secured to the underside of my seat, between the edge of the seat and the frame rail. Is completely out of sight, and accessed by feel.

Very discreet, and no more fumbling in my pockets.

harley makes a kit as mentioned above that you activate with your high beam. i wouldn't necessarily say it's worth the price they are asking for it but it's a great idea.
