Brake light problem

Default Brake light problem

Got my bal1.was testing brakes before I even installed it and when stepping on the foot brake pedal the brake light won't work.hand brake works but not foot light.holy heck not sure how long this was like this.any thoughts where to start.i have a 2007 heritage.ok I did a little research and found that its probably a switch.where exactly is this switch?

Just trace your brake line from the MC to the caliper. Somewhere in between is your switch. Most likely right around your transmission.

Volt/Ohm meter at the switch.

I found that but didn't think it was a switch. Thanks guys I will check it out. Ash,thanks for the pick,that confirmed it.

I had the same problem once. Changed switch problem solved.
