Has anyone else sent back PM Grips because the rubber part was grey instead of black? After I got my first set I sent them back because while they looked black in the photo, they were actually a medium grey. Sent back the next pair because they they had no taper. Then today after looking closly at the photo in the catalog, the third set of grips shows up and is grey rubber again.
Dennis Kirk is a gem of a retailer, but the photos are not accurate, and return shipping is eating me alive.
Thought this might help anyone looking at these grips especially if you have a black bike.

Mine look more dark gray also. Of course it's rubber and it won't be shiny black like the aluminum part of the grip. It never even made a difference to me to the point I had to go outside to look at them to see what color the rubber was.
Just get shiny black gloves since your hands will cover the grips while riding.
Or, if that 4 inch piece of rubber is such an eyesore, put a big dent in your tank. Trust me, that's all you'll ever look at!!
