Never had any problems with mine, but then again I never put the baffles in my pipes. I have always ran without.

For all of you running the Samson's, I am torn between baffled or non-baffled. I want my bike to be LOUD, but I also don't want it to run like crap. I'm not overly concerned with power (though I don't want to lose a ton), but definitely want the Samson's for the look. Are any of you having problems running non-baffled?

Also, I thought I read something about two different sizes in the head pipes (1 7/8 or 2 1/4 maybe?). What are you guys running? Everything I have seen is 2 1/4...

It won;t run like crap without baffles but it will sound like fishtails should. I put as et of baffles in my fishtails, rode around the block, and took them out. Regardless, with the new removable tips you can pull teh baffles if you don't like them.

I've ran my cholos without baffles the whole time I've had em, and I don't think it's hurting me as far as performance is concerned. I still notice a huge difference over stock. But because I can't get enough of that unbaffled roar, I don't think I'll EVER put the baffles in. They sound friggin' awesome! Like Hogpro said, they will sound like fishtails should....
