Default Bubbas quick release docking hardware

Has anyone used Bubbas quick release saddlebag system? How does it compare to Harley Davidson's quick release docking hardwared for detachable bags?

Thanks

I have the bubbas on my 07 Deluxe, along with the quick detach back rest. They are very low profile, the bag doesn't stick out much, which is what I was looking for. They are harder to take off and on than the other popular quick release systems (You have two ***** you have to unscrew from within the bag, so takes me about 45 seconds a bag). It wasn't a big deal to me though, I keep the bags on most of the time.

Hey everyone,
New member and first post. There is a LOT of great info here. Does anyone know if the Bubbas will work with the Softail Deluxe with the bags that are design for them (H.D. accessories)? Also, does anyone have any pics of the struts with the bags removed and how they attach inside the bag? Any help will be appreciated. I just installed the Barebacks, and am not sure I like how far they are spaced from the fender.

i actually worked on the setup with bubbas for the stock deluxe bags on a deluxe with the stock exhaust system. once you bolt the lower support brackets to the bags using the wholes that are already there for the factory support and adjust the crow foot that goes over a sleeve on one side that is bolted to the exhaust bracket and on the other side the crow foot goes over the rare peg support. its a snap to put them on and remove them. the acorn nuts that attach to the strut are small not bulky its a nice setup

Well, Bubbas is what it's gonna be. I'm going to place my order at the end of the week. Now, I need to decide which bags.

Thanks for the pics 07deluxe. What I'm still not sure about is how secure they are, and how they are attached at the bag. I had Easybrackets on my VTX, and they had locks to slow down a would be thief (you can't stop a determined criminal). The Barebacks I just installed have nothing, but I knew that when I bought them. If the Bubba's do offer some security, then It will help justify the higher price, and the loss I'll take when I try to sell the Barebacks. Also, none of the research I've done on the Bubba's indicates howthe saddlebags are attached and detached once they are installed? As always, any and all help will be appreciated.
