Default Hidden Treasure

Yesterday a buddy of mine brought his bike over to my shop for a few upgrades which included new Handlebar Grips. The bike is a 97 Fatboy which he purchased 4 months ago. As I removed the left handlebar grip, I noticed a metal tube stuffed into the handlebar. WTF? Inside the tube was 20,000 Philippine Pesos, roughly $465.00 bucks.

Apparently the previous owner used the handlebar as a stash tube to hide emergency money but had forgotten about it. Living in the Philippines, I've seen many makeshift mods but this is a new one for me.

Cool find. More money for parts or free gas money for riding the bike.

Boy is that a reversal of fortune!!! Thats the 1st time I ever heard of a bike or a mod that gives back money rather than soaking it up and out of your pocket!!!
