the reason i asked this, as i was sitting in the shop relaxing, looking at it, thinking i'd hate to come out one day and find it laying over because i had picked up something and not noticed till it went flat...

It could. I've seen here where guys would park their bikes in one of those wheel chocks overnight, only to come out in the morning to find their bikes on the ground, due to a slow leak in a tire.

If one has a bike that's been lowered a bunch, then they would/could have a bigger issue with it falling over.

if still stock height. then I'd say NO...

I have a 06 FXSTI and its lowered and ive had flat rear a couple of time and a front flat its never moved so no worries
