Default Fatboy tank emblems

What's everyone doing to replace tank emblems? I have a 13 fatboy lo and I'm not a big fan of the tank emblems. I'm thinking of replacing them with dyna/ street glide ones until I get it air brushed. What's everyone think?

It's your bike. Do as you please.
Not for me though. If I were to remove, I'd go without till airbrushed.

Fatboy badges are the ones to have. Why would you replace them with a lower model bikes badge? If you don't like them, just remove them and sell/give them to someone that appreciates them. But don't put a Dyna badge on a Fatboy LO.

Making them "the ones to have" are subject to preference. I don't care for them. As far as lower model badges, just because they are on lower models wont downgrade my bike. I personally like the simplicity of them.

@mikeskins I like the look, nice bike!

Houstzy,

It's your bike, brother. I say do what you want and make the bike what you like, you are the one with the creative mind so make it your own. I do not think a Dyna is a lower model, either. I had one for years and just wanted the Fat Boy for the larger size. Post pics when you do the mod, would love to see them.

I'm not a fan of the fatty badges either and I don't worry about what other close minded folks think! I went with street glide badges and painted them to match my colors.
I also want to get some painted on down the road but wanted to have something till then. Badges were like $60 for now compaired to a paint job the is gonna be $600+.

Yeah I'm good for now....

We don't need no stinking badges!

Not when we can have flames!

Seriously, how hard would it be to get them off of your tank? You may be looking at a new paint job sooner then expected. Unless that was your intent all along
