I'm with ya brudda..... but that's just me. I like the look and ride of the standard (of course after I made it the way I wanted it). I am 6 ft. and it fit's me perfect.

I just went from a 1200 custom to a Softail Duece. The only other Softail I rode was a standard. I'm 5'8" 185 and I wasn't as comfortable on the standard as I was on the Duece. I felt alittle cramped. As far as the difference, the Softail handles way better than the Sportster. It's really night and day. The Sport is top heavy. As far as I know the Softail is the most balanced bike Harley makes. You'll love it !!!

Yep, went up on Sat. afternoon & had a great time. Saw alot of nice bikes up there. One bronze colored Fatboy for $13,500.00 that really caught my eye. I need to get my Sporty sold so I can go bike shopping again. I did put some pics of my bike on the bathroom doors up there, but didn't get any responses. [:@]I have abuddy in Lincoln named Joe Snyder that rides a Fatboy. Know him? Maybe someday we'll meet up.
