06 Deluxe, FI, battery had been low, but would crank slow. Trickle charged it. Tried to start, cranked once, then nothing.
Turn to accessory and speedo light comes on. Turn to right, nothing, no light, no pump prime, nothing at all.
Have not had time to play with it yet.
Battery is probably 2 years old.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hook up the jumpers to the car and see if it starts. Then go get a new battery.

Your battery is done get new one. If you want to be sure you can have it tested.but if it was going low already that is most certainly the issue.

my last battery (stock) would show 13V on a voltage tester, then once you hit start, it dropped down to 3V.. probably the battery going bad.

If you're going to jump it from a car, google how to properly do it, you don't jump a bike battery from a car battery like you do car to car.

I agree, I'm pretty sure the Big Crank is made by the same company that makes Harley batteries and only costs about half as much. I've had one for about a year and it really lives up to its name. It cranks my bike effortlessly. Btw, did I mention the FREE shipping?

I believe when you jump a bike from a car, you do it with the car NOT running. JMO

Thank you all for your responses.
As I had said, I had not had time to look at it .
Well, you were all right. Pulled the seat today and found a loose battery connection. Tightened it up and fired right up.
Thanks again. Relieved it was nothing more than that.
