2700 of them produced and this one is #845 all original and in great condition. Now what should I do. It runs perfect and only has 16k miles on it. If I start tearing down would I be ruining a bike that might be worth something or should I just look for another softail to supe up?

what to do?
what to do?

any opinions would be appreciated.

Go right ahead (...and sell me the seat!)

People pay big money for the tank badges off that glide. Look at ebay they for a nice penny. Always have liked them.

That's a slick bike. I myself might leave it like that and mod away. Making a sweet mooglide. And of course keep all the stock parts for the next sucker.

I remember when that bike came out in 93. They brought all the money. One of things that make it special is that is the only year they had that color combination, & of course the seat. They had a FLSTN in 94, but it was silver and white or gray or something. Still pretty but not a "Moo Glide". Now, I think the Deluxe carries that model designation? I'd take the advice of the others here that suggested you keep it stock, or if you change exhaust, handlebars, footboards, etc.....keep the originals. I wouldn't play with the engine. BTW, I saw one for sale at the dealer in Ocala, FL a few weeks ago.

You have to keep it stock.
