Default heads leaking ??

Alright forgive my lack of knowledge of engine parts, i now have an 05 fxst after a cager ran me and my 1200 sporty over, anyway i picked this bike up about a month ago and i started taking notice the top cover of the jugs looks like its leaking now, i just had the bike switched from reg to synthic oil and i didnt know if maybe the seals might be shot or if the synthic might be thinner and the bolts may need to be tightened down ,any thoghts on this appreiceted in advanced, also how do you tell if your shocks are shot also front suspension dives when braking is this normal for a softie ????? thanks steve

the rockerbox gaskets could be leaking just change out he gaskets. synthetic oil has equal sized molecules where dino oil has disimlar sized molecules...so syntetic oil will leak where it didn't with dino oil. If you have weak gaskets or seals you will find them when you swtich
