Wow, that's one beautiful machine! Great job on the mods. I can see that you have a fortune tied up in it, and it shows proudly! Congratulations on a great bike (and great wife!).
Very nice. Very nice. I too would like to know what you used to plug the holes in the fender. Been thinking about moving the plate on mine. Did I say nice?
Thanks for the good words! I have put a lot of work into her and have really shopped to find the parts. Its amazing how cheap you can find some of this stuff. You just have to be patient and the deals will come. Everything was new when it was installed. Just one example is the Boomerang Covers from Kuryakyn normally go for any where between $79.99 and $99.99, I found them on e-bay brand new still in the package for $49.95 e-bay is great place if you have patients. Most of the H-D parts came from Jenni at Benjys Harley Davidson in Huntington WV. She will give 20% off and if its something they have a large quanity of, she will even go as much as 30%. If you need a part from H-D give her a call 304-523-1340
rhinoevans,
The bars are Carlini 1.5 inch drag bars with a 7" pullback. They normally go for $299.00 from Carlini, I got them from a Harley Dealer that was trying to unload inventory for $215.00. I just used some chrome allen head screws and nylon lock nuts to fill the holes in the fender. Looks pretty good.
