There should be a light in the speedometer shaped like a gas pump. Hard to say how far, really. If accurate there is usually about 1/2 gallon left, so maybe 20 miles.

I'd just put gas in ASAP if you see that light , no telling if you will get a consistent number of miles once it lights.
2nded.
That light is the same thing as running on reserve on a carb'ed bike.
Except carb'ed bikes reserve is generally 1 gal VS fuel injection having .5 gal when the light comes on. Never understood why they did that. The tanks are the same size I think.
Either way, I wouldn't let it get that low very often. You are running a fuel pump and they don't like being run dry or close to it.
I never use my gauge I did a few runs to figure out what I get per gallon and use that as my guide I would not trust the gauge I get 31 miles to a gallon when I hit 100 miles I will start thinking about filling up
FI bikes have a fuel light and there not very accurate, mine comes on with 1.5 gallons left,I just changed tanks and this one comes on with.3 gallons left that not enough for me so I'm gonna go back in and adjust the float lever.hope this helps
