This photo pops up on the forum each year. I thought it was the right time to bring it back since the weather is an issue for most of the country right now.

Unless they are in Colorado, in which case it doesn't really matter.

The line between stupidity and bravery is very narrow. Almost none existent in some cases.

not unusual in most places where mountains are nearby big cities, LA to the mountains is about an hour drive to the snow

Definitely like Colorado. I was in Copper mountain in July once and it started snowing.


Beartooth pass is 10,947 feet, in one section you go from 5,200 ft to 8,000 ft in 12 mi.
