I would say plan ahead for the mods you wanna do. if you plan on sticking with intake and exhaust the fuelpak is a good option but if you ever have any plans on upgrading any farther than that I would reconsider for a race tuner or power commander. I like the race tuner cause it does not require a piggy back system.
I've got a fuelpak on my deluxe with samson true duals and arlen ness intake. The bike really has been opened up and runs cooler and more powerful. I don't plan on anymore than that and if I do I'll just get a different tuner.
I called fuelpak and was told they don't have tuner for 2014 softail yet something about software problem or something. You would think there wouldn't be difference between 2013 and 2014?

Hmm. Well at least Vance & Hines was honest with you. They could have just assumed 2013 and 14 were the same and sold you one.
Maybe a Power Commander V? About fifty bucks more pricey if you find a deal on one. They can pre-load the map for your bike at Fuel Moto for no charge. (Fuel Moto is a forum sponsor here.)
