RE: Any suggestions for dyno tune in Dallas Tx?
Got my PCIII tuned at Sabin Peformance in Dallas. Jim Sabine at www.sabinpeformance.com. He charged me $200.00 for the custom map. His shop is a rat hole, but he seems to know his way around a dyno. My bike popped and backfired a lot before I went in, and now it rarely pops and no backfires. I was referred to him by Philm. He hangs out in the touring forum a lot. You may want to PM him for some more info. Jim has responded to emails and questions promptly before and after doing the map. He will tweak my map for me as well if the need arises. It is a sport bike shop, but about 80% of his dyno business over the past two years has been Harleys. He told me he has tuned about 200 Harleys. He has been running a dyno for 12 years and tuning Power Commanders for 6 years. He is also listed on Dynojet's site as a Certified Power Commander Tuning Center. This is all info I got from asking him questions via email and over the phone.
Let him know that Tobywith the Fatboy, referred you over. Good luck, let me know if you use him.
