Fuel gauge adjustment?
I installed a 1.5" tank lift and lowered the rear of the bike 2", now my gauge doesn't read correctly. I go by my trip meter and know I have about 200 miles a tank, but I would like to adjust the float to match correctly if for no other reason that im bored and wanna tinker on my bike. anyone know a good way to go about this? Thanks.

the only way I know to adjust a fuel gauge reading is to remove the sending unit and slightly bend the float arm.
if its reading too low, bend the float arm down, too high, bend it up.

Yup, you can bend the arm to adjust how it reads. You'll need to remove the dash, then remove the fuel pump support plate. The fuel level sending unit is attached to the fuel pump assembly. It's a bit of a PITA to do the first time. Lots of YouTube videos on the removal, I'd recommend checking them out before diving in.
