Can you Softail guys tell me if the 1995 & 2012 frames are the same?

The frames are different since the twin cam is bigger than the Evo. Hopefully someone more knowledgable than myself will chime in. I do know that the tanks mounts are different and the later models have the square backbone verses the round tubing on EVO's.

 

I think the Softail frames changed in 2000. Don't quote me on this.

 

They are not the same . Every mount is different .

I should have mentioned this in my thread. My brother-in-law has a 95 & wants to use rear & front fenders plus rear fender strut from a 2012 Slim. Thanks for all of your info.

 

Unless things are different in the States, according to the UK 2012 catalogue I've got the Slim isn't in it, so I should think its a 2013 bike your talking about, you don't mention which 95 Softail are you sure the wheels are the same size ?

 

Front fender will work but the rear struts and rear fender will not .
