Trying to decide between a vance and hines pro pipe are a bassini road rage like the sound of both, the look is not much different, don't know about the tenability just would like to hear from you guys and gals about what you think. Don't want a thunderheader are a dd fatcat so we can leave those out of the equation. thanks in advance.

I'd choose the Bassani, V&H are all over the place.

I worry about heating issues with a 2 to 1 setup.

When you restrict airflow the motor doesn't cool normally. Anybody seen this when going from singles a 2 to 1 pipe?

I just put on a new V&H Pro Pipe 2 into 1 and have not had any heating issues.

No problem on our bike with the Bassani Road Rage 2-1.
I will have to do a tune when I finish with the stage one.

Here are a couple of videos of our bike.
The first one I took with the wife's help on the throttle and the second one is from the Bassani web site of our bike, it was used for fitment.

Default pipin hot

Depends on how soon you need the pipe. I currently use the Bassani but Fuel Moto is resurrecting the Supertrap E pipe and that's where I'll be going in May when they said they would be on the market. Used them back in my Evo days and was the best pipe going. Still have one hanging on the wall in my shop and don't know why they were faded out other than marketing. There's nothing wrong with the Bassani though but like the ability to tune the exhaust to the bike which you can with the E series.

Ive never heard of anyone having problems with 2:1's being restrictive. I personally would go with the bassani as it seems everyone else has v&h
