Engine paint anyone?

Has anyone on the forum ever do or knows someone who has painted the cylinders fins and head fins to match the bikes color? There must be a special high heat paint to do it I assume. Seen some at a bike show today and thought it looked cool. I should of asked the owners but didn't. Stupid me. Any input and help of any kind would be great. Thanks in advance for any replies...

I havnt but when I was thinking about it I was told the HD rattle can does a good job. If going for color the hit Joe from Powder Pro. He does some slick work.

I painted my moter black and it's held up well with vht high temperature paint... I taped off each fun with fine line tape it took days

Those are some seriously steep prices for powdercoat...
I had my rockers, cam & clutch covers and primary done for less than that guy wants just for the primary...

$48 for a derby cover?
That's more than H-D's catalog price to just buy a new one...
