Default Springer front end question??

I am looking at putting a springer on the front of my Night Train. But I do not want the Cross bones look. The rake is really low and they seem to sit straight up and down to me. Can I get by with +2" rake without an issue? What am I not asking that I should be asking about springers?

I put a Vulcan 7.5* rake on my Bones, looks much better. They also make a 4.5* kit also

Not sure if FL springer will fit on your Train

Sounds like you want a fx springer front end. That would be a direct bolt up to your bike. A fx springer is essentially a night train with a springer front end. The fx springers are 2in longer than the fl springers. So find a complete fx springer front end and bolt it up.

You shouldn't have any issues adding 2 degrees of rake. Just stay away from those $400.00 springers. You don't want to just go with a raked front that is the stock length because that will lower the front of your bike nor do you want to go with just an FX springer because that will just lift the front of the bike. Unless of course you use the FX springer and add the rake in the neck of the frame. Also, I believe you may have to go with internal stops. If memory serves me, it's not just a direct swap. It also seems like there is a difference in the neck lengths or spacing between the upper and lower trees. But then again I could be wrong about all of it.
