this is my bike currently as a heritage i wanna make it to this springer with wideglide front end and 21" wheel
looking for how to do this?
and is the ride soo bad with the skinny front tire and springer that i shouldn't?
any help or info would be great
A wide glide front end is hydraulic. A springer is a springer. Two different things. This is a FL Springer with the bigger frame and boards, etc.
I don't know if you can interchange Springer and Glide front ends. Have to get somebody with the know how. What you have is a FX Springer in your pic. It will not fit on a FL frame. I do know that.
I thought about doing the same thing to my Fatty. my independent mechanic was gonna order all the parts and do all the labor.
I guess if you want to do it yourself - pick up a catalog (like from Pauch) to see all the parts necessary. I'm sure you can get a springer frontend from HD, but that's gonna cost you double.
I have a perfect Springer front end off a 2000 Heritage Softail Springer with the 3 headlights and horn. Sell for $1200. Shipping would be a bitch though. It is HEAVY!
