I'm re-installing the Fuel pump/regulator assy. back into the tank on my 05 EFI Fatboy, I have everything back in, but the left side of the cover where it meets the tank is sitting up approx. 1/4". takes a fair amount of pressure to push it down to tank,(service manual say's install left side screws first), I'm assuming they want some pressure to hold the unit down and keep any part of it from bouncing around and causing damage, they do have a rubber boot on bottom of the fuel pump, seems like its designed to keep pressure between the cover screws and that boot. Just don't want to screw something up, not alot of fun to take back apart and pretty pricey parts to be breaking. Thanks
