Installed Alloy Art LED front turn signals last season. No load equalizer and no rapid flash, they worked fine. I just installed rear strut LED alloy art signals, and now I have a rapid flash, which doesn't surprise me. I will get a load equalizer that should solve that issue, but my new issue is that the red key light on my instrument cluster is now lit up all the time-and I don't have a security system. I'm assuming its a dummy light telling me I have a signal light out (at least the computer thinks so due to the low LED draw), but I just want to make sure this is the case and it's not some other electrical or engine issue going on. Anyone else have this issue when installing LED's? And will the load equalizer solve this problem? Either way here are a few pics of them installed. I had the housings powder coated and I'm super impressed with the quality overall.
i first saw hyperflash as a problem.... until people started liking it ("how did you get them to flash like that?") and noticed that it drew attention....
Thanks all!! I kind of like the hyper flash myself, but the instrument cluster light is going to drive me nuts. The load equalizer is on the way from custom dynamics.

Even after I installed mine (from C.D.) they told me to also cycle the turns for about 10 seconds each, then the four-ways for 2-3 minutes after that.
They claimed that would re-sync the dash lights.
It worked for me...
The little lights are amber and those are the signals. The brake lamp is a red incandescent bulb with the smoked lens.
Thanks for clearing that up.

I left my load equalizer off, when Custom Dynamics said I didn't NEED it but the dash light would flash fast but not the lights themselves. I don't pay much attention to it anymore.
Your lights probably we're not flashing because you had two of the old lights still drawing power. The computer probably freaked out when you added the two additional LEDs. When I installed mine the red dash key light came on and wouldn't go off. It bugged me too. When I installed my load equalizer it did not turn the red dash light off. Here are the directions to reset the TSSM if the load equalizer doesn't work for you. Hope this helps.
