Is this normal??
I just had Carlini Clean Sweeps installed the other day at the local Harley dealer. There seems to be spaces on both sides next to the switch housings, I am not sure if this is norm al or they just screwed it up. Any help would be appreciated.

That does not appear to be normal. I've never seen a gap like that. Try loosening the clutch and throttle housing and moving it over. If that does not work I would take them back and see what the problem is.
I have not owned the bars you have but thw 1 1/4 bars I had on my last bike did not have a gap at all. I think you should pull the clutch side off and see if the grips were installed all the way on the bars. That or take it back and ask why they left a gap.
I will have to concur with the others. That does not look right at all.

Thanks for all the quick replies. I went out and decided to take off the switch housing's from the clutch side and see what I could do. It seemed as thought the tech did not get the wiring all the way inside of the bars, so instead of taking 10-15 minutes more time he just left the gap. After working the wiring into the handlebar slot I was able to move the switch housing right up to the edge leaving no gap at all. I then took the throttle side apart and spent 10 minutes or so working the wires in there as well and was able to slide everything up with no gap there either. So everything looks perfect now.
I now understand why everyone refers to the dealership as the "stealership". I took it there to have the bars put on because I wanted it done right without any issues, I was not even overly upset at the cost. However I pay the money and get a half-*** job, needless to say I will begin to research these projects now and start learning to do it myself.
Once Again thank you for the replies...I feel I can always count on the help from everyone on this forum.

I have a similar gap, but only about 1/8" b/c on the bars I have, the wire from the turn signal (which are still on my handlebars) runs through the bars. I have not found a way to avoid this. Any suggestions? I am going to install a light bar which will eliminate this, but I have not found a way to fix it until then.
