Default Chirping noise from security system

So I do not have an alarm installed on my Breakout...but it has the built in security. I have heard other bikes make a chirping sound when the ignition is turned on. My bike will make the chirp on occasion but not all the time. Reading through the manual there is way to turn it on...I went through all of the steps but it just doesn't seem to work on a regular basis. Does anyone know anything about this?

I also have the security system, but didn't get the "chirp" until I added the siren module.
The newer can-bus bikes will "chirp" (not the same sound) on their own when the ignition is switched on if your bike is storing codes...

Yea if you don't have the siren module or some aftermarket horn like the Radio Shack one installed, the chirp you hear is not your alarm.

If you really want to make sure, put your fob 10+ feet from you bike and turn on the ignition. I think you'll find that the lights will start to flash but you'll won't get a "chirp-chirp-chirp-chirp" sound.

If you want the "chirp-chirp-chirp-chirp" sound either spend a $100 on the siren module or spend $6 on the Radio Shack horn.

I have two of the Radio Shack horns install and trust me, the bike don't move without somebody hearing it.

It's not the alarm chirping sound... It's only a single chirp that happens when I turn the switch on to run... Before I hit the start button. But again only happens intermittently.
