So I threw this on today. Got it from J&P for like $100. Gotta give it a shot with some truck bedliner or something to match the wrinkle black.
I am not 100% sold on the look just yet. Maybe something to do with the Harley side plates I used.
Oh well, I will run it for a bit and see. I have some 13" TreeHuggers going on as soon as JayBrake sends my new front brake lever. That will probably help out the look I am going for.

While I agree with you the it should be under the strut cover, there is a nut about 3" from the rear strut cover bolt that would stop this. These are Harley side plates and this one is meant to be installed on the outside.

Plus with these side plates, they would hammer against the fender if they were inside the strut covers. Also if you look closely, you can see the silver nut that is holding my tail light in.
