One looks OK on a Fatboy, but I don't think one would look good on a Deuce.
Batwings only look good on Ultras & Streetglides, which they need to have to house the gauges, etc., they look sorta silly on any other style bikes IMHO>

OP yea i have one for my deuce, i only use it when it windier than hell out, cold or raining. otherwise i like the wind in my face. while i dont care for the look myself its a better choice than the HD quik detach, for functioning.
I've considered one for cold weather and long interstate runs. I like the look of the Dead Center Cycles Road Captain fairing, but they don't have the Softail version available yet. If they ever do, I'll probably give it a shot.
I agree that a batwing doesn't do anything good for the looks of the Deuce, although juiced_deuce's looks better than any I've seen, but I've got hard bags on mine, so I'm already an outcast in the Deuce community.
west if the hd 1 works for you then you must be a shorter fella, cus the wind buffeting was killer for me with the hdqt.
6' and I just rode cross country with hellacious winds all the way. But I am sure a batwing would give you cleaner air and glad the setup works for you.
Ive been riding with the batwing for almost a year. I love it. I have a stereo installed and it is great.
As you can see from my original post there is A LOT of negative thoughts about putting a batwing on a Deuce. But, the great thing is that I'm not making anyone do it to theirs. If they dont like it, then they dont have to ride it.
