Greetings
I got a 2003 Heritage Softail Classic.
The PO had gotten wax on the parts of engine next to the covers, and in general the black on the engine is looking kinda sad, dull etc. What can I use to sharpen the engine black up?
I have tried Armor all as some suggested, ...no change!
Thanks
Ed
Use Pig Spit. I'm in my big rig right now or I'd snap a picture of the can in my garage . Works great . I got polish on the black parts of the fins on the jugs. Pig spit sprays on and comes out like brand new. Really black . Good stuff .
I never say trust me, but trust me on this.. I had the same issue with my Heritage. S1 makes a product specifically to blacken the black engines. It worked FANTASTIC on my bike. The nozzle has a pad attached to get in the fins. No mess either!
