i have a 2004 heritage with 39k on it ,with 104 all bore,i was thinking about trading for streetglide or roadking ,or just keep what i have witch is bought and paid for and add some shotgun shocks, maybe hard bags later, any thoughts
Keep your Heritage.
I do this all the time. I get tired of my, perfectly good, completely functional things and I want something new just for the hell of it.
Get the Shotgun Shocks and new bags and save yourself from and unnecessary loan IMHO.
Or not. New stuff is cool!
Keep your bike. The Tourers were not all that great for me for local riding. I just sold a 14 Ultra to get a 14 Heritage. Before that a 2012 Road King.
MUCH better bike around town on all levels for me. But I am 5'8" 165 Lower bike is much easier to handle in all situations.
