Reckless fairing folks...
I dont want to wait to catch them at a rally and I havent been able to find any directions anywhere.
Can anyone tell me how does the Reckless version of the 12 volt cig lighter wiring install? Do I have to attach directly to battery, do you tap the wires or is there some splicing involved?

Generally speaking, inline fuse on the hot side and wire it to battery or fused relay. If you piggy back it on another hot wire, the wire may not be able to handle the extra load and either blow fuses or burn up wiring.
I have a fused relay for extra goodies like this.
This is basic wiring, you may want some one to help you just to be sure all is good. Nothing worse then inducing wiring problems and having to troubleshoot them.
