Good day All, I have a concern on engine noise that I am hearing. I have a 06 Heritage Softail and I have been hearing the engine sound very loud on both sides( sounds like the valves??) I had a few friends listen to it and they told me that it was the chain inside. I'm a lil concerned with that, is it normal or can I possibly be sarting to get issues with it? Any and all information is appreciated. Also I did have some new SE 204 Cams installed maybe about 6-9 months ago. Thanks again
Have you ever had the cam tensioner's checked if they are crumbly apart you will have big problems I would not be riding the bike until I found out what's up
When the cams were installed they should have replaced the tensioners and inner bearings. Did they? Also, did you replace the lifters. Most people recommend replacing the lifters at 30K? I agree with Nikonf8. Dont ride the bike until you find out whats up. If something goes in the cam chest it could trash the engine and/or get you hurt.
I have recorded a video, can I txt it to someone to post for me? im not to computer literat. Cam tensioners and inner bearings were done when putting the new cams. The bike was warming up during the video. Thanks
I am in the middle of the fix for my balancers going out. It comes from the bottom end of the engine. They are replacing the balancers, oil pump, cam plate, tensioners, etc. Should take 4 weeks.

Not sure on how big the file is, but I recorded about 1min 30 sec worth of video. I can txt it to you if you like?
