I just ordered a Arlen Ness Big Sucker, once it arrives and I put it on, will I need to make any adjustments to the bike? I have an 06 Deluxe, with the Stage 1, Screaming Eagle exhaust. Thanks
My '05 Fatboy came from the factory with SE intake, stage 1, and 95c.i.. I put SE slip ons and the dealership said the stage 1 would handle it. Remember that they all run a little on the lean side for EPA concerns. You might want to consider an after market devise like the power commander the richen it up a bit.
You say your bike has Stage 1 exhaust or stage 1 mods? If it has stage 1 done already, you would have the ECM flash, but you wouldn't need the Big sucker air filter kit, as you would already have that or something similar.
If your bike's ECMdoesn't have the Stage 1 Flash, then yes, you will need something to richen the mixture. Running without will cause a very lean condition, dangerous to the motor.
