Go Fat Boy. Good luck dealing. Harleys go like hot cakes. I paid the $17,095 for my Fatty 2 weeks ago.

Bought my Heritage in February, MSRP minus $300, first service free,T-Shirt AND a bag, in Feb the dealer had about 8 between their two locations now I think they have 1.

At this time of the year I would guess MSRP is the best deal.

MSRP that's the best your going to do. I got a $500 gift card, that lasted 20 minutes.

I got my '07 Deluxe from Thiel's HD in Ohio a couple weeks ago and even with the impact of the strike they gave meMSRP but WITHOUT charging the freight anddealer prep.Got the free T-shirt from their clothing manager, a free tire pressure guage from service, and20% off any additional HD goodies I wanted to add to the bike from parts. Ended up spending a lot (bags, windshield, floorboards, chrome front end) but with the instant discount I couldn't pas it all up.

You'll be lucky to find one stock.
My dealer likes to put2 grand worth of stuff on it while it's sitting on their floor.
Easy way for them to jack up the price.

I bought mine while it was still being delivered to them.
That way I only put on the stuff I wanted.

Make sure you compair set up prices too.
That's anyother way they can jack it up.
My dealer was $350 higher in set up charge, than a dealer 70 miles away so they matched it.

Most of our local dealers will quote MSRP, but the setup/freight varies a lot. We have one dealer that puts bikes on special ($500 under MSRP for all Road Kings for example) and the setup was dropped for that bike during the sale, but that was before the strike. All you folks quoting MSRP and freebies: are you paying anything for freight and setup?

I just bought an 07 night train. The MSRP was somewhere in the 17's. I paid 16,800 out the door including taxes and fees. I also got the T-shirt, Battery tender, alarm, and smooth wheels. Came from Atlantic County Harley by Atlantic City NJ. I bought my sporty from HD of Ocean County but they sucked. AC HArley is awsome. Great People not your everyday dealer.

MSRP, a hand-shake and a pat on the back! Oh, and maybe 10% on accessories purchased in the next 30 days!

Good luck...

Steve

It may depend on where you are. I just picked up a 07 Deluxe, (delivery this Friday) and go it for $500 below MSRP. No freight or setup. I had three dealers quote me from $300 to $510 below msrp on a Deluxe. Oh, I'm in Wisconsin. Also, a free t-shirt.
