I got $200 off MSRP, no setup, no delivery, 20% off my addons, free installation of my new speedo, when it comes in, 3 t-shirts, and a helmet for my boy. I went in to look at the Cobalt Blue Softail Custom, and the sales guy took me right over to the Custom that they had modified already. Seeing how I didn't like any of the mods, or the price, I politely told him no thank you.

fixin to pick up my 07 Heritage Classic in a week and paying 16000 for the bike and 325 for the security system= 16325 out the door. Had to wait 2 months due to it being a police edition bike.

Most of our local dealers will quote MSRP, but the setup/freight varies a lot. We have one dealer that puts bikes on special ($500 under MSRP for all Road Kings for example) and the setup was dropped for that bike during the sale, but that was before the strike. All you folks quoting MSRP and freebies: are you paying anything for freight and setup?

From my original post: msrp and a free battery tender.

Freight was free and all it needed was a quick check over and road test. I ordered it a with security system.

$500.00 off MSRP
2 HD T-shirts
2 HD Coffee mugs
Tire pressure gauge
Embroidered Laptop case (now I need a laptop)
2007 day planner
Custom Ballpoint pen with flames
HD parts & assessories book
Various magazines & publications
1 year free membership with HOG USA. (everyone gets that!)
Refrigerator Magnet with me and my bike taken on the day of delivery! (it's also posted on the dealer's website!)

I would've rather had more off the MSRP than all of that crapsinceI dropped another $3,000.00+ in add-ons, but you really can't barteron a top selling brand.

Good luck with you choice. Pick the best bike for YOU!

Stay away from the dealer in Tallahassee. I looked there a couple of years ago when we lived in Panama City and they started out $2000 over msrp. They didn't have too many bikes though, a few new ones but mostly used. I looked at a Road King there one time and I noticed it had a nasty scrape on the left saddlebag. When I commented on it, the salesman kind of laughed and said that maybe they should take it in the back, fix it up and then raise the price. He was quite the jerk. Acted like I should just be happy that they had something there for me to buy.
