So jersey, after posting a ton about the Breakout, what do you think?
We need pics!
picked up my used 13 this morning with 372 miles on it. i just got home and now have 504 miles on it. i LOVE the bike! a few minor issues i have to correct but for the most part i love it! my only two complaints are 1. i scraped the pegs several times, but to be fair i read that a lot before buying and 2 the mirrors are positioned horribly i keep hitting them when reaching for the levers and looking through them all i see is my elbows.
Nice, that is brand new man, 372 miles is nothing.
Ok, the peg feelers are terrible. Removed mine first thing. I think a 7/16 or maybe a 3/8 deep socket and take them off. They scared the **** out of me when I leaned into my neighborhood road on the way home from the dealer.
Mirrors, never have trouble with mine. Probably the only functional mirrors on a motorcycle I have ever owned.
1. i scraped the pegs several times, but to be fair i read that a lot before buying...
While removing the feelers helps, just get some replacement pegs. Even after removing the feelers my heels kept scraping in turns because the original pegs have an offset for some reason. I got a set of wider HD pegs, and surprise, no more scraping!
2 the mirrors are positioned horribly i keep hitting them when reaching for the levers and looking through them all i see is my elbows.
Mine came with the mirrors positioned too far back - rotate them away from the levers and your visibility will improve.
